Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a supplier for Ropinirole tablets. The contract will be for a base year with four one-year option periods. The supplier will provide the tablets to the VA's Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor (PPV) program, which distributes pharmaceuticals to VA facilities and other government agencies. The contract will require the supplier to provide a unique 11-digit National Drug Code (NDC) for each product and to ensure that all products are FDA-approved and manufactured in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
The key requirements of the contract include:
* Providing Ropinirole tablets in various strengths and package sizes
* Ensuring all products are FDA-approved and manufactured in accordance with cGMP
* Providing a unique 11-digit NDC for each product
* Ensuring all products are compatible with automated dispensing units
* Providing bar code labeling on all products
* Maintaining a business-to-business agreement with the PPV contractors
* Ensuring timely delivery of products to the PPV distribution centers
* Participating in the VA's subcontracting plan and providing a plan for small business subcontracting.
