KC District, City of La Monte, Sidewalk Improvements

The City of La Monte is seeking bids for the construction of sidewalks improvements along Mason Street. The project includes the enhancement of the existing sidewalks, and all labor used in the construction must be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality. The city reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects or to reject any or all bids and to re-advertise and to rebid. • The project is open to all bidders, but they must be on MoDOT’s Qualified Contractor List. • The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. • A 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program must be completed by on-site employees within 60 days of beginning work on the construction project. • The DBE Goal for this project is 0%. • No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project.
