Description
The Department of War is seeking quotes for pharmaceutical agents to be included in the Uniform Formulary (UF) and the Basic Core Formulary (BCF) or Extended Core Formulary (ECF). The quotes should include prices for the agents and refunds for the TRICARE Retail Pharmacy Program. The Department of War will consider the relative clinical effectiveness and relative cost effectiveness of the agents in recommending their selection for the UF and classification in the generic, formulary, or non-formulary cost share tier.
• The UF is a list of medications that are considered essential for the treatment of beneficiaries.
• The BCF is a subset of the UF that includes medications required to be on formulary at all full-service military treatment facilities.
• The ECF is another subset of the UF that includes medications used to support more specialized scopes of practice.
• The quotes should be submitted electronically to the RFQ POC listed in Part 2.3.
• The quotes should include all NDC-11 packages of the pharmaceutical agents marketed during the life of the agreement.
• The refund quotes should be submitted as a percentage of the most recent annual Non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price (Non-FAMP).
• The Company agrees to hold open its UF ADP refund quote for 180 days.
• The refund accrual and invoicing will be calculated in accordance with the agreement.
