Engineering Services for the Los Osos Landfill Post Closure Activities

The County of San Luis Obispo is seeking professional engineering services for the Los Osos Landfill Post Closure Activities. The selected consultant will perform all management, administrative, planning, engineering, and design as needed to carry out required post-closure activities on behalf of the County to maintain compliance with all State and Federal requirements. The scope of work includes performing broad functions of management of the project, monitoring performance of existing remediation systems, county project management coordination, operations, monitoring and maintenance contractor coordination, providing regulatory and technical guidance, and performing engineering design services for long-term cost reduction implementation of the post-closure and corrective action plan. • Performing broad functions of management of the project including post closure maintenance activities and corrective actions • Monitoring performance of existing remediation systems • County project management coordination • Operations, Monitoring & Maintenance (OM&M) contractor coordination • Providing regulatory and technical guidance • Performing engineering design services for long-term cost reduction implementation of the post closure and corrective action plan The contract term will be three years with an option to extend up to two additional years.
