Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide reference laboratory testing services for the VA Portland Health Care System. The contractor will be responsible for providing specialty and esoteric reference laboratory testing for tests not performed in house. The contract will have a base year and four one-year option years. The contractor must be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, laws, and ordinances.
• The contractor must provide patient specimen testing for the specific range of referral testing within their capability.
• The contractor must provide analytical testing, reporting of analytical test results, and consultative services as required.
• The contractor must be fully licensed and accredited and actively engaged in providing the specific services and laboratory testing outlined in the Statement of Work.
• The contractor must have at least three years of experience providing laboratory services and at least one year of experience in transporting biomedical materials.
