Secondary Clarifier 3 Drive Replacement Project (MI 2646)

The City of Thousand Oaks is seeking bids for the Secondary Clarifier 3 Drive Replacement Project. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals as required by the plans and specifications. The general items of work include removal of an existing non-functional Westech clarifier drive unit, installation of a City provided replacement Westech Model 8050 drive unit, reinstallation of the aerial walkway, replacement drive electrical connections, startup and testing. • The project requires the removal and replacement of a clarifier drive unit at the Hill Canyon Treatment Plant. • The City will provide the replacement drive unit. • The project includes reinstallation of the aerial walkway and replacement drive electrical connections. • The project requires startup and testing of the new drive unit. • The estimated amount for this project is $175,000.
