The City of New Port Richey is seeking a qualified contractor to procure, remove, and install an Ovivo‑manufactured C40HT (C40LT) drive unit at its water‑treatment facility, providing all associated construction, testing, and warranty services. The work must be completed within a tight 90‑day window, includes extensive safety, environmental, and documentation requirements, and demands substantial bonding and insurance coverage.
• Scope: purchase OEM drive unit, remove existing unit, install new unit, provide warranty, and perform all civil, mechanical, and electrical work required for full operational readiness.
• Schedule: bid questions due 26 Oct 2026; bid submission deadline 9 Nov 2026; public bid opening 10 Nov 2026; substantial completion required within 60 days of contract start, final completion within 90 days.
• Requirements: 5 % bid security, 100 % performance & payment bonds, extensive insurance, pre‑construction audio‑video record, hurricane‑preparedness plan, strict noise and safety limits, and a demonstrated track record of at least 20 similar Florida projects.
