New and Unused Tire Service Body Truck

The County of Kern is seeking to purchase a new and unused tire service body truck. The truck should have a minimum GVWR of 14,000 lbs and a maximum GVWR of 19,500 lbs. The truck should be equipped with a gas engine, heavy-duty automatic transmission, and power brakes with a trailer brake controller. The truck body should be made of aluminum or galvanized steel and have a minimum length of 12 feet and a maximum length of 14 feet. The body should have front cabinets with adjustable shelves, a control panel to operate the compressor remotely, and a side and rear facing flood light mounted to the roof rails. The truck should also have a lift gate with a folding tire rack and a high mount amber mini light bar.
