Description
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Eye Institute (NEI), intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a sole source basis to MathWorks, Inc. for MATLAB software licenses and associated maintenance and technical support services. The maintenance subscription includes access to the latest MATLAB and Simulink updates, worldwide technical support from specialized engineers, and access to MATLAB Online, MATLAB Mobile, and MATLAB Drive. The anticipated period of performance is from March 06, 2026, to March 05, 2027.
• The requirement is for MATLAB software licenses and associated maintenance and technical support services to support ongoing scientific research activities at NEI.
• The maintenance subscription includes access to the latest MATLAB and Simulink updates, worldwide technical support from specialized engineers, and access to MATLAB Online, MATLAB Mobile, and MATLAB Drive.
• The acquisition is being conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
• MathWorks, Inc. is the developer, sole manufacturer, and exclusive owner of MATLAB software and its proprietary toolboxes, making it the only source capable of providing the required proprietary licenses and official maintenance services.
