Ultrasonic Side Scan Testing Services

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Yard is seeking sources to provide Ultrasonic Side Scan Testing Services for upcoming vessels scheduled for availability at the USCG Yard. The services include providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, planning, and other items necessary to perform Ultrasonic Side Scan Testing services. The testing will be conducted on vessels in dry-dock, and the contractor will be required to provide a final written report within three working days after the side scan inspection is completed. • The contractor will be required to provide qualified personnel, including an ASNT Level III certified analyst, to perform the testing. • The contractor will be required to use suitable side scan equipment to conduct a "Scanning Crawler Automated Test" of the vessel's underwater hull, freeboard plating, decks, tanks, and other areas for the presence of metal corrosion and deterioration. • The contractor will be required to follow all applicable Government regulations, policies, and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and environmental protection.
