Description
The State of Michigan, Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) is requesting professional architectural and engineering services for the design, bidding, and construction administration of renovations to the existing Hartwick Pines Visitor Center exhibit display space. The project includes interior renovations, updating the existing lobby and exhibit space, replacing existing exhibit displays, and constructing a new family restroom. The selected firm will provide Phase 400 Preliminary Design, Phase 500 Final Design, Phase 600 Construction Administration / Office, and Phase 700 Construction Administration / Field Inspection Services. Key aspects of the project include:
• Renovating the existing lobby and exhibit space
• Replacing existing exhibit displays with new ones
• Constructing a new family restroom
• Coordinating with Split Rock, the vendor for exhibit design and fabrication
• Providing construction estimates and progress summaries
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and standards
