Description
The City of Fall River is soliciting bids for tree planting services for the Facilities Operations Department. The solicitation packages can be obtained electronically through the Purchasing Department via email. Sealed bids must be received by May 21st, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The bids will be opened, witnessed, and results made public. All bid prices submitted must remain firm following the bid opening. Questions concerning this bid solicitation must be submitted in writing via email by May 19th, 2026.
• The bid is subject to Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates.
• A bid bond of 5% of the value of the total bid is required.
• A payment bond of 50% is required.
• The City of Fall River reserves the right to reject any/all bids or quotes when deemed in the best interest of the City.
• Any deviation from the specifications must be clearly outlined and explained in detail.
• Time of delivery is part of the bid and is very important.
