Liquid Oxygen and Storage Tank

The City of Chesapeake is soliciting bids for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract to provide liquid oxygen and a storage tank for the Public Utilities Department. The contract will include the lease of a 6,000-gallon liquid oxygen storage tank, delivery of liquid oxygen, and associated hardware and services. The contractor will be responsible for annual inspections, maintenance, and repairs of the tank and equipment. The City reserves the right to make multiple awards and to extend the contract to other public agencies. • The contract will be for an initial term with options for renewal. • The contractor must provide a 6,000-gallon liquid oxygen storage tank that meets OSHA and NFPA standards. • The contractor must deliver liquid oxygen to the tank and provide associated hardware and services. • The contractor must perform annual inspections and maintenance of the tank and equipment. • The City reserves the right to conduct site visits and inspections. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
