Description
The Southeast Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is seeking a qualified firm to provide comprehensive actuarial consulting services over a five‑year period. The work includes annual actuarial valuations for five defined‑benefit plans, development and ongoing maintenance of a web‑based pension‑portal tool that provides real‑time retirement projections, and ad‑hoc consulting on assumptions, contributions, and board advisory matters. The contract also requires the vendor to host the portal on its own cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) within the contiguous United States, meet stringent security and compliance standards, and maintain an office within one hour of SEPTA headquarters. The award will be based on best value and compliance with SEPTA’s technical requirements.
• Annual actuarial valuation reports (including GASB 75 OPEB) for five pension plans.
• Design, hosting, and support of a cloud‑based pension‑portal with weekly data updates, SSO via Microsoft 365, and TLS 1.2 encryption.
• Ongoing time‑and‑materials consulting for assumptions, contribution projections, and board advisory services.
• Full compliance with SEPTA’s IT system standards, security questionnaire, and insurance requirements.
