South Riverside Dr. and Atlantic Blvd. Stormwater Improvements

The City of Pompano Beach is seeking bids for the South Riverside Dr. and Atlantic Blvd. Stormwater Improvements project. The project aims to enhance flood protection and water quality within the project area. The work includes the construction of stormwater swales, installation of a stormwater pump station, site preparation, earthwork, dewatering, and drainage installation. The project is funded through the State Revolving Fund Program. • The project is located along Atlantic Boulevard and South Riverside Drive in a residential area. • The purpose of the project is to construct stormwater system improvements. • The work under this contract shall include, but not be limited to, the following major items of construction: • Construction of stormwater swales and associated drainage features. • Installation of a stormwater pump station, including all mechanical, electrical, and control components. • Site preparation and earthwork, including excavation, grading, and soil stabilization as required. • Dewatering operations necessary for installation of underground utilities and structures. • Connection to existing outfalls and integration with existing drainage systems. • Installation of drainage piping, structures, and appurtenances. • Roadway and driveway restoration, including pavement resurfacing and curb replacement where applicable. • Tree removal and landscape restoration, including replacement plantings consistent with approved landscape plans. • Restoration of existing irrigation systems and driveways affected by construction. • Installation of pavement markings and traffic signage in accordance with applicable standards.
