Description
The project includes the replacement of CCTV cameras along the H-3 Freeway and within the Tetsuo Harano Tunnel, installation and replacement of the corridor-wide fiber optic trunk communications cable, installation of new CCTV cameras on H-3 Freeway, operator equipment upgrades at the Tetsuo Harano Tunnel traffic operations center, and the installation of a fiber optic conduit between Kalihi Interchange and Houghtailing Street on the H-1 Freeway. The estimated cost of construction is between $6,000,000 and $10,000,000.
• Replacement of 72 existing closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras
• Installation and replacement of the corridor-wide fiber optic trunk communication cable
