Bear Valley Pathways

The Town of Apple Valley is seeking a qualified and experienced multimodal transportation and civil engineering firm to provide professional engineering and design services for the Bear Valley Pathways Project. The project consists of two phases: the Apple Bear Bus Stop Project and the Bear Valley Road Class I Bike Path Design. The selected consultant will be responsible for preparing complete Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) for both components, including all necessary design, engineering, and construction engineering support services. Key responsibilities include coordination with Victor Valley Transit Authority, utility providers, and adjacent property owners; preparation of environmental documentation; design of ADA-compliant infrastructure; and grant application support. • The project aims to enhance pedestrian, bicycle, and transit infrastructure along the Bear Valley Road corridor. • The Apple Bear Bus Stop Project will construct a new ADA-compliant bus turnout, shelter, and sidewalk connection. • The Bear Valley Road Class I Bike Path Design will deliver a complete PS&E package for a 10-foot-wide Class I multi-use path. • The selected consultant must demonstrate a successful track record in active transportation design, transit infrastructure improvements, and local agency project delivery.
