Calaveras County Rock Creek Landfill Weather Structure Projects

The County of Calaveras is seeking bids for the construction of two prefabricated steel clear-span I-beam construction weather protection structures at the Rock Creek Landfill. The purpose of this project is to reduce stormwater exposure of materials and bins in support of the landfill's Best Management Practices (BMPs) and recommendations identified in the Level 2 Exceedance Response Action Technical Report. The project includes delivery and installation of the weather protection structures. • The bid will be awarded on the basis of lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder, considering the Lump Sum Base Bid and meeting all other requirements outlined in the ITB. • The bidder must provide a short description of at least three (3) but not more than five (5) of the most relevant, completed projects. • The bidder must comply with all applicable laws, including prevailing wage requirements, insurance requirements, and bonding obligations. • The bidder must sign and return the contract to the County within three (3) calendar days after receiving the Notice of Intent to Award and the contract. • The bidder must complete the project within 120 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.
