The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate with MPI America Inc. for a probe station temperature control system upgrade on a sole source basis. The sole source determination is based on the Government's need to upgrade an existing 200mm wafer probe station manufactured by MPI America Inc. The system must enable variable chuck temperature down to -60C and be compatible with the existing probe station. The requirements include the installation of the temperature control system, integration with the existing chuck and probe station, and demonstration of ice-free operation.
• The system must utilize air only cooling for -60C operation.
• The probe station with variable temperature control must operate ice-free down to -60C.
• The vendor must possess an Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) and a Unique Entity Identification Number (UEI) at the time of award or contracting.
• The vendor must provide installation and start-up services, including uncrating, unpackaging, and removal of packaging material.
