Description
The California Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking a contractor to provide full‑service refuse and recycling collection, transport, and disposal for multiple park sites within the Northern Buttes District, including Lake Oroville State Recreation Area, Clay Pit OHV, and the district office. The contractor must supply and maintain all bins, trucks, labor, permits, insurance, and reporting required for a three‑year contract, responding to routine and emergency pickups and delivering regular waste‑diversion reports.
• Provide 2‑yard (lockable) containers for refuse and recycling at each park location; 3‑yard containers for the district office.
• Perform scheduled collections according to a multi‑year calendar with seasonal off‑service periods, and handle additional pickups on a 1‑day emergency response window.
• Manage all aspects of waste handling, including bin maintenance, disposal at approved facilities, compliance with CalRecycle reporting, and submission of invoices and insurance certificates.
