Q301--New Dialysis Water Testing Service

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified laboratory to perform monthly colony count and endotoxin testing on dialysis water samples at the Wilmington VA Medical Center. The selected vendor will be required to provide all water testing kits and shipping materials, perform monthly testing, and report results promptly. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with an estimated annual analysis of 88 bacteria colony counts and 88 endotoxin counts. The contractor must be a certified laboratory capable of bacterial assays in accordance with ANSI/AAMI 13959:2014. • The contract requires the contractor to provide all necessary shipping supplies and test results in certified electronic format within 48 hours of analysis. • The contractor must maintain ISO 17025:2023 accreditation and adhere to all AAMI test methods. • The contractor must be able to perform monthly colony count and endotoxin testing on dialysis water samples. • The contractor must provide FedEx Priority Overnight return shipping for all samples.
