The Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) is seeking quotes from qualified vendors to update their warehouse conveyance system from TCP/IP messaging to WebSockets. The WebSocket shall establish a single, persistent, and bidirectional connection, allowing automated warehouse processes to keep human operators instantly updated. The contractor shall assist OLCC with setting up the WebSocket, ensure reliability, and implement an OLCC-approved reconnection strategy to handle client or server connection failures. The contractor shall also ensure the security of the WebSocket system using TLS/SSL encryption and robust authentication and authorization protocols.
• The WebSocket shall function as the communication stream between D365 and Pivot for integration between the current Milwaukie warehouse Pivot solution and the future WMS D365.
• The Pivot solution is hosted on premises at OLCC.
• The Pivot solution will be replaced with the new conveyance solution in the Canby warehouse.
• Quotes shall include pricing for the modification from TCP/IP messaging to WebSockets, including code development, testing, remote support, and cost for on-site labor should remote deployment not be successful.
