The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research to support the acquisition of 15 battery-operated micro floor scrubbers for the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans' Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. The scrubbers should meet or exceed the salient characteristics of the Nilfisk SC351, including a maximum running time of 100 minutes, a voltage of 12V, and a sound pressure level of 64 dB(A). The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary materials, tools, equipment, software, and training for the effective use of the scrubbers. The contract will be a single-award contract, and the Government anticipates awarding the contract to a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firm. However, if responses from SDVOSB firms are inadequate, the Government may use an alternate set-aside or full and open competition.
Some key points to consider:
* The contractor shall provide comprehensive operator training on the use of the micro style floor scrubber.
* The contractor shall provide all materials, tools, equipment, software, and training necessary for the effective use of the micro style floor scrubber.
* The contractor shall furnish all EMS-related products necessary to meet clinical cleaning demand in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW).
* The Government is not obligated to award a contract as a result of this notice and is not obligated for any costs incurred in the preparation and submission of a response.
