Description
The City of Wilmington is seeking a qualified arboricultural firm to serve as the sole on‑call provider for tree removal, stump grinding, and pruning services across the city. The contract is a three‑year master agreement with an optional two‑year extension, using a task‑order pricing model. The contractor must respond to emergency calls within 24 hours and non‑emergency requests within 30 days, completing work in accordance with ANSI A300, Z133, and ISA standards, while protecting utilities and adjacent property.
• Scope includes removal of approximately 25+ trees per year (≥ 20‑inch DBH), stump grinding to 24 in depth, and pruning per City arborist direction.
• Work is performed Monday‑Friday, 7 AM‑7 PM, with no guaranteed minimum workload; historical annual spend exceeds $100K.
• Contractor must provide required equipment (chainsaws, stump‑grinders, aerial lifts, etc.), maintain OSHA‑compliant safety practices, and submit invoices after each task‑order is completed.
