Description

The Texas A&M AgriLife Procurement Office is soliciting statements of qualifications for the assessment of an existing mobile application and potential correction/enhancement. The selected firm will provide services for the assessment and potential correction/enhancement of the mobile application. The project involves reviewing the current app architecture, evaluating compliance with accessibility standards, assessing user experience, and providing a written report with findings and recommendations. Key considerations include the firm's experience with similar projects, their approach to the assessment, and their ability to identify and resolve critical issues. • The mobile application is used to deliver evidence-based educational content for StrongPeople programs. • The app is available for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. • The project involves two phases: assessment of the existing mobile application and potential correction/enhancement. • The selected firm will work with the Owner to develop a timeline and scope of work for Phase 2. • The project has key milestones, including the deadline for submitting qualifications, owner announcements, and completion of Phase 1 and Phase 2.

Budget estimate

$50,000 – $200,000

The budget for this project is difficult to estimate without knowing the scope of work, the firm's expertise, and the level of effort required. However, based on the project description, it seems that the firm will need to provide a comprehensive assessment of the existing mobile application, which may involve reviewing the app's architecture, evaluating compliance with accessibility standards, assessing user experience, and providing a written report with findings and recommendations. The firm may also need to provide services for the potential correction/enhancement of the mobile application, which could involve UX improvements, modernization, feature enhancements, integration with existing systems, and recommendations for long-term hosting and management. Considering these factors, a rough estimate for the budget could be between $50,000 and $200,000.
