Description
The Department of Youth Services is seeking quotes for snow plowing and salting/ice melt services at its facility located at 456 Flax Pond Road, Brewster, MA 02631. The contractor must provide hourly charges for pretreatment, truck, plow, driver, truck sander, driver, front end loader, driver, and each yard of salt/ice melt. The contractor must also provide minimum charges per trip. The contractor will be required to respond to calls throughout the day or night in all weather conditions and must arrive at the facility no later than two hours after being called.
• The facility is located inside Nickerson State Park and the access road, parking spaces, and other paved areas must be cleared as needed.
• The contractor must use a salt or ice melt approved product and may pretreat the paved surfaces to aid in keeping the surfaces clear.
• The contractor must coordinate with facility staff to organize the moving of vehicles to maximize plowed areas.
• The contractor will be required to check in and check out with facility staff to establish start and end times for billing purposes.
