Description
The State of Oregon, acting by and through the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), is seeking a Regional Health Equity Coalitions (RHEC) in the State of Oregon. Grant funds awarded as a result of this RFGP shall be used to support increasing Health Equity in Oregon by completing tasks and activities that build the capacity of the RHEC to engage in regional and statewide policy, system and environmental change efforts, including action on the Social Determinants of Health.
• The RHEC will coordinate, collaborate, communicate, and engage with community-based organizations and other partners.
• The RHEC will provide timely recommendations and feedback to state, county or tribal agencies on policy language to promote equity in policy development, implementation, and enforcement.
• The successful Proposer will execute a Grant Agreement with OHA, anticipated to begin January 1, 2026, and end June 30, 2027, with the possibility of renewal for up to 10 years.
