RFQ for Engineering Services

The Coosa Water Authority is seeking qualified engineering firms to provide engineering services for water system improvements, including planning, preliminary engineering, permitting, funding assistance, surveying, mapping, design, and construction administration. The selected firm will be expected to work with the Coosa Water Authority to complete preliminary engineering work associated with the Water and Environmental Services. The scope of work includes preparation of final design, plans, and specifications, securing necessary permits and clearances, and construction administration services. Key requirements for the proposal include: • Experience with state and federal funding guidelines • Prior experience with the Coosa Water Authority • Brief history of the engineering firm and its principal personnel • Cost schedules for general services and additional services • Fees for reimbursable expenses • Proposed plan to implement the project • Forecast for future engineering services for 5 years
