The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced consultants to develop a comprehensive, data-driven multi-year Economic Development Master Plan for the Central County area. The plan aims to promote underutilized areas within the county's boundaries and attract additional development opportunities that will integrate within the communities. The selected consultant will provide services for a 30-month period, with three 12-month renewal options. The proposal should include experience, project approach, key personnel, and business location information, as well as a price proposal and certification of business location.
Some key points to consider:
• The Central County area encompasses approximately 57 square miles and has a population of around 280,908 residents.
• The area has access to major highways, airports, and rail lines, making it an attractive location for businesses and tourists.
• The plan should identify industries and uses that will support the continued growth and development of the airports as major economic engines.
• The consultant should have demonstrated experience in supplying similar services and meet all criteria and requirements identified in the RFP.
