Stores Management Processor (SMP) Obsolescence Redesign NRE

The Naval Air Systems Command is seeking a sources sought notice for the Stores Management Processor (SMP) Obsolescence Redesign NRE. The goal is to redesign the SMP to mitigate diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages. The project involves designing and qualifying alternate parts to replace obsolete components of the SMP. The SMP functions as an interface between the aircraft mission computer and the aircraft weapons and external stores. • The order will be awarded on a sole source basis to Boeing. • The project requires unique knowledge, experience, special skills, facilities, manufacturing techniques, and technical data. • Interested parties are requested to submit their capability statement along with their company name, address, and any comments or questions. • The submission should include the company name, address, CAGE code, UEI number, and a point-of-contact. • The Government will acknowledge receipt of the response and may request additional information following review.
