Description
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) is seeking a vendor to modernize its Relational Database Management System (RBDMS) for the Great Lakes Restoration and Development (GRMD) program. The effort includes migrating legacy data, updating system architecture, and delivering a “to‑be” design that meets current and future functional requirements. The modernization will support improved data integrity, reporting, and integration with other state systems.
• Scope includes legacy system assessment, data migration planning, and execution.
• Development of a new RBDMS architecture and detailed “to‑be” diagram.
• Implementation of migration tools, testing, and validation.
• Training and documentation for EGLE staff.
• Deliverables due by the proposal deadline of November 2 2026.
