Description
The North Carolina Community College System is seeking bids for the purchase, delivery, installation, and setup of new, unused, and currently manufactured fitness equipment and related services for the 58 institutions within the system. The contract will have an initial term of three years, with two optional one-year renewals. The equipment and services will be procured on an as-needed basis throughout the contract period. The categories of equipment to be supplied under this contract include cardio equipment, strength equipment, functional fitness and CrossFit-style equipment, rehabilitation, wellness and specialty equipment, fitness accessories, facility furniture and support items, and other fitness and wellness equipment.
• Cardio equipment: treadmills, elliptical machines, stationary bikes, rowing machines
• Strength equipment: free weights, weight machines, strength training equipment
• Functional fitness and CrossFit-style equipment: battle ropes, sleds, plyometric boxes, sandbags
• Rehabilitation, wellness and specialty equipment: stretch trainers, rehabilitation resistance bands, balance boards
• Fitness accessories: yoga mats, exercise mats, jump ropes, stability balls
• Facility furniture and support items: fan systems, equipment disinfecting wipes, mats for under cardio machines
• Other fitness and wellness equipment: other equipment not listed in the above categories
