Structure 2 and South Canal Bypass Improvements Project

The San Jacinto River Authority (SJRA) is seeking Competitive Sealed Proposals for the replacement of Structure 2 and improvements to 150 feet of the South Canal in the Highlands Division of Harris County, Texas. The project’s engineer‑estimated construction cost is $1,304,000. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Brazos Valley/Ionwave system; emailed proposals are not accepted. A mandatory pre‑proposal conference will be held in person on October 6, 2026 at the Highlands Division Office. Questions are due by October 9, 2026, and proposals are due by October 23, 2026. The earliest award is expected in December 2026 with construction anticipated to start in January 2026.
