Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) seeks a qualified small‑business general building contractor to perform comprehensive repair and replacement work at four Caltrans Maintenance Stations located in San Joaquin, Mariposa, and Alpine Counties. The scope includes removal and installation of insulation, drywall, plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, and associated painting, as well as the installation of a reverse‑osmosis under‑sink system in place of a water fountain at one site. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, travel, disposal fees, and incidentals, and must hold the appropriate Class B, C‑10, and C‑36 licenses, be a certified small or disabled‑veteran business, and maintain required insurance and bonding.
