Sub-Boiling Distiller

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information from sources that may be capable of providing a sub-boiling distiller to further purify ultrapure water for test material and standards development. The required equipment should have specific technical specifications, including not requiring a fume hood for operation, PTFE or PFA wetted components, automatic filling and draining with overfill and dry-running protection, and 120 V, 60 Hz AC power. • The sub-boiling distiller should be able to produce ultrapure water with contaminant concentrations of 10 to 100 parts-per-trillion (ppt, 10-12 moles per mole). • The equipment should be able to reduce contamination carryover and interferences from ambient molecular and particulate contaminants. • The distiller should be compatible with a glove box environment. • The manufacturer should provide services such as installation, training, and equipment maintenance. • The manufacturer should also provide standard terms and conditions of sale, including delivery time, FOB shipping terms, manufacturer warranty, and equipment setup and test.
