Request for Information (RFI) for Food Support for DLA Troop Support (CONUS SPV) - North and South Dakota Area, Military and Federally Funded Customers

The DLA Troop Support is conducting market research to gather information from potential contractors for the Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) program, which provides full-line food and beverage item distribution support for military, federally funded, and other authorized customers in the North and South Dakota regions. The program requires a contractor to provide food products, manage inventory, and transport products to customers. The contractor must also be able to meet the surge requirement, which is an increase in military feeding of 300% of peacetime demand for a period of up to 30 days. Some key points to consider include: • The contractor must be able to provide food products such as canned items, dry items, chill items, and frozen bakery products. • The contractor must have a warehouse in North Dakota and/or South Dakota, or be able to obtain one. • The contractor must be able to meet the delivery schedule, which is typically 48 hours after the order is placed. • The contractor must be able to provide Berry Amendment compliant/United States domestic products. • The contractor must be able to accommodate the surge requirement and operate at an increased output of products for a period of six months or longer.
