Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Optic Hardware and Services

The United States Marine Corps intends to enter into sole source negotiations with CACI, Inc. - Federal (CACI) for the provision of optic hardware and services. CACI is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the CM-262 optic systems modified and integrated into the Marine Air Defense Integrated System (MADIS) program. The proposed contract action includes the continued software lifecycle management support activities, procurement of necessary licenses, software maintenance, and updates to the core optic software. The requirement also includes services for the repair and maintenance of optic component hardware. • The contract is a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract. • The place of contract performance is Hanahan, SC at the Naval Information Warfare Center. • The software applications must maintain interoperability with the associated information systems. • The Government does not possess the required rights to the source code necessary to support a competitive procurement.
