The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is seeking a quote for the rental of (1) 6K# and (1) 17K# forklifts. The rental period will be from 01/05/2026 to 02/15/2026, with an option to extend from 02/16/2026 to 03/01/2026. The forklifts must meet specific technical requirements, including capacity, power type, and safety features. The contractor will be responsible for delivering, maintaining, and repairing the forklifts.
• The forklifts must be capable of operating around-the-clock under a rigorous deployment performance schedule.
• The contractor must provide a qualified service technician to repair all equipment deficiencies and malfunctions.
• The contractor must provide liquid spill protection to the ground surface during routine maintenance or emergency breakdown repairs.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable safety and occupational health standards.
