Modesto City-County Airport for Professional On-Call Airport Planning Services

The City of Modesto is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Modesto City-County Airport for Professional On-Call Airport Planning Services. The City is seeking to establish a list of firms that are pre-qualified to work on these airport projects. The scope of services for this project includes soliciting statements of qualifications from qualified aviation consulting firms for On-call Airport Planning Services at the Modesto City-County Airport. The selected firm will provide professional on-call airport planning services for a period not to exceed five years. Some of the key services include: design study to establish the framework, airport data collection and facility inventories, aeronautical activity forecasts and demand/capacity analyses, facility requirements determination, airfield modeling for capacity and delay, airport layout and terminal area plan development, airport noise studies, compatible land-use planning, airport site selection studies, airport development schedules and cost estimates, and participation in public information and community involvement programs. • Key services: design study, airport data collection, aeronautical activity forecasts, facility requirements determination, airfield modeling, airport layout and terminal area plan development, airport noise studies, compatible land-use planning, airport site selection studies, airport development schedules and cost estimates, and public information and community involvement programs. • The City is seeking firms with experience in airport planning services, knowledge of FAA Airport Improvement Program, and knowledge of Capital Improvement Planning. • The selected firm will be required to provide a statement of qualifications, including firm experience, proposed scope of services, and key project staff. • The City will evaluate all submittals based on factors such as location of the firm's primary office, years of relevant experience, broad character and scope of past projects, experience of proposed team members, demonstrated planning and organizational ability, originality and creativity of approach, ability to fast-track quality assurance, size of the firm's staff, and general comprehension of potential assignments.
