Z--Mead Substation Sewer Remediation and Replacement

The Mead Substation Sewer Remediation and Replacement project involves furnishing all labor, supervision, material, licenses, permits, insurance, transportation, and equipment necessary for sewer remediation and replacement. The project consists of several tasks, including providing alternate restroom facilities during construction, locating existing underground utilities, cleaning and descaling the existing 4” cast iron building drain, installing a new pipe liner, and removing and replacing existing sewer clean-outs. The project is estimated to be between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00, and the place of performance will be in Clark County, Nevada. • The project requires the use of ground penetrating radar to locate existing underground utilities. • The existing 4” cast iron building drain must be cleaned, descaled, and flushed. • A new pipe liner must be installed in the existing 4” cast iron building drain. • The sewer line replacement must be leak tested per I.P.C. Section 312 and 312.6. • The project requires the removal and replacement of existing sewer clean-outs.
