Description
The City of Manila, Arkansas is soliciting sealed bids for a single‑source general contract to install an Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS III/PT) and construct an access road serving Manila Municipal Airport. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder, subject to compliance with Federal Aviation Administration funding, Buy‑American requirements, Davis‑Bacon wage rules, and a 5 % bid security. The successful contractor must hold a current Arkansas contractor’s license and submit required certifications and qualifications. Work must be completed within 60 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
• Install a complete AWOS III/PT weather‑monitoring system (sensors, data‑link, power, and shelter).
