E-RATE Request for Proposal (RFP) for Term Contracts for Internal Connections Equipment/Services and Managed Internal Broadband Services (MIBS)

The Biloxi Public School District is soliciting sealed bids for a new Firewall as well as Managed Internal Broadband Services (MIBS) and Basic Maintenance. The District is seeking a two-year contract to cover the 2026 funding year for all Internal Connections Equipment and Services requested in the proposed RFP. The District is seeking a five-year contract for Managed Internal Broadband Services and Basic Maintenance of Internal Connections. • The proposed firewall must be Fortinet or equivalent. • The Managed Internal Broadband Services contract will cover E-Rate eligible equipment ONLY. • The Basic Maintenance will cover E-Rate eligible equipment and components ONLY. • The Service Provider must provide all supervision, tools, equipment, hardware, and wiring materials as specified. • The Service Provider must obtain all necessary county, municipal, and/or state work/building permits. • The Service Provider will be responsible for repairs of damage to the building, roads, equipment, existing cable, or property.
