The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research to identify qualified firms capable of providing Ultrasound Systems for the Nebraska Western-Iowa VA. The systems must be Brand Name or Equal to the SiteRite 9 system, and interested firms must supply proof of authorized distribution from the brand they intend to sell. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification. • The Ultrasound Systems must have auto vessel detection and assessment tool with continuous needle tracking. • The systems must have DICOM conformant worklist and storage capabilities. • The systems must be able to do close tracking of vascular access device placements using ECG based tip confirmation and electromagnetics navigation. • The systems must have antivirus protection and built-in training tutorials. • The systems must include a minimum 15.5 inch touchscreen and have ergonomic probe with button controls. • The systems must have Tip Confirmation System (TCS) catheter tip tracking and tip navigation technology. • The systems must have “Cue” needle tracking System. • The battery should last up to 3 hours on a full charge. • The systems must include a medical grade printer.
