CONSTRUCTION SURVEY STAKES

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is seeking quotes for construction survey stakes. The stakes must conform to the specifications provided, which include details on the type of wood, dimensions, and quality requirements. The quotes will be received electronically through Public Purchase, and the quote opening date is December 11, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. Mountain Time. The following types of stakes are required: Type A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. Each type has specific requirements and tolerances. • Type A stakes are 3/4” x 2-1/2” x 14” long with a point tapering from both sides 4” from the end. • Type B stakes are 3/4” x 3/4” x 8” long with a point tapering from both sides 1” from the end. • Type C stakes are 3/4” x 2-1/2” x 14” long with a point tapering from one side 11” from the end. • Type D stakes are 1-1/2” x 1-1/2” x 12” long with a point tapering from all four sides 3” from the end. • Type E stakes are 3/4” x 3/4” x 8” long with a point tapering from both sides 1” from the end. • Type F stakes are 1-1/2” x 1-1/2” x length as indicated on bid form with a point tapering from all four sides 3” from the end. • Type G stakes are No. 1 lath, 3/8” x 1-1/2” x lengths as indicated on bid form with a point tapering from both sides 3” from the end.
