Description
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive janitorial and recycling collection services for its facilities, operations, and research environments. The services will include maintaining clean, sanitary, safe, and functional facilities that support administrative, clinical, and research missions. The contractor will be required to perform the services in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and NIH policies.
The key services to be provided include:
• Janitorial services
• Miscellaneous tasks
• Additional project services
• Optional interior recycling
• Optional exterior trash and recycling consolidation
• Optional exterior trash and recycling collection
The contract is expected to be a firm fixed price contract with a one-year base period and four subsequent one-year option periods. The place of performance will be the NIH Headquarters at Bethesda, MD, and other designated locations.
