Description

The City of Santa Fe Public Utilities Department is seeking a sole source justification for the ConserveTrack water conservation system. The system is designed to support urban water conservation programs and has been customized for Santa Fe's requirements. The system includes features such as implementation of 50+ water conservation program modules, full integration and synchronization with the utility's billing system, public portal integration, and full reporting capabilities for all historical water conservation cases. The system is owned and copyrighted by RightThere LLC, and no other vendor can access the source code. The city has already invested funds in the system and has begun using it, making it impractical to switch to another vendor. Some key features of the system include: • Implementation of 50+ water conservation program modules • Full integration and synchronization with the utility's billing system • Public portal integration • Full reporting capabilities for all historical water conservation cases • Automated configurable workflows and action buttons • Works with all water service types and all property types • Calculation and reporting of water savings • Budget tracking • Quick case entry • Administration and configuration features • Customization capability The system is designed to provide a comprehensive solution for water conservation programs, and the city is seeking to justify the sole source procurement of the system.

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $500,000

The budget for this opportunity is likely to be in the range of $100,000 to $500,000, considering the complexity of the system and the customization required for the City of Santa Fe's needs. The cost may include software licensing fees, implementation costs, and ongoing maintenance and support. The city's investment in the system has already begun, and the sole source justification is likely to cover the costs of completing the implementation and providing ongoing support.
