This solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to provide on‑call hazardous‑waste disposal services—including bin rental, collection, transport, and final disposal or recycling—for Caltrans facilities across nine Bay‑Area counties. The contractor must maintain all required state and federal licenses, certifications, and insurance, and must respond to service requests within specified timeframes while delivering detailed documentation for each waste shipment.
• Service coverage: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, Santa Clara, San Francisco, San Mateo, Solano, and Sonoma counties (38+ Caltrans sites).
• Scope of work: Provide 20‑ and 40‑cubic‑yard bins for tires and treated‑wood waste, perform regular pickup, transport to licensed disposal/recycling facilities, and submit manifests, weight receipts, spill diaries, and GPS logs.
• Minimum qualifications: Motor Carrier Permit, CSLB Class A General Engineering license, HAZ certification, DOT hazardous‑material registration, CHP transport license, CalRecycle tire‑hauler decal, CalEPA hazardous‑waste transporter registration, EPA ID, and HAZWOPER training.
