Taylors Point - Dredge

The Town of Bourne is seeking quotes for the dredging of approximately 105 cubic yards of sediment from the Taylors Point Channel. The project includes mobilization and site preparation, dredging, dewatering, and sediment disposal, and de-mobilization and site restoration. The contractor must provide their proposed means and methods for construction with their bid. The project must be completed by January 15, 2026, and March 1, 2026. • The dredging must be completed by mechanical means such as an excavator on a barge or clamshell. • The dredged sediment shall be temporarily placed within a containment basin on the barge, a scow, or stockpiled within a dewatering area constructed on the boat ramp. • The contractor shall provide the anticipated upland disposal site and method of transportation (by truck or barge) along with their means and methods for the work. • The contractor must conduct a before-dredge and after-dredge hydrographic survey. • The contractor must install and maintain a silt boom along the perimeter of the dredge area to contain turbidity caused by dredging.
