R--Sole Source Award for Sample Collection at NADP PA18

The US Geological Survey (USGS) is seeking a sole source contract for the operation of a NADP/NTN wet atmospheric monitoring station. The contract requires weekly site visits to collect and process precipitation samples, as well as perform routine instrument checks, maintenance, and repairs. The USGS has identified Mr. Kevin Horner as the only known and available authorized source qualified to collect the required data in the Renova, Pennsylvania area. • The contract requires 52 trips per 12-month period to rural and remote areas, including private land and scientific research areas not open to the public. • The contractor must have authority to enter and work in the analytical and sample processing laboratory located at the operating organization, Pennsylvania State University. • The contractor must be able to provide the required data to support USGS mission areas.
