Description
The State of South Carolina’s Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities (OIDD) is seeking a vendor to supply and install eighteen (18) fully customizable wheelchairs for three regional centers. The contract is fixed‑price and will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The vendor must deliver the wheelchairs, conduct on‑site measurements and fittings, and provide a one‑year manufacturer warranty. All work must be performed during normal business hours and comply with state insurance and compliance requirements.
• Provide 18 new, custom‑configured wheelchairs (Invacare Solara 3G Tilt‑in‑Space or equivalent) with specified accessories per resident.
• Perform site visits for measurement, fitting, and installation at three SC locations (Florence, Hartsville, Clinton).
• Include shipping, setup, warranty documentation, and comply with insurance, de‑barment, and drug‑free workplace certifications.
